Keep Away...

because we are SICK! (notice I typed in all caps!?!) It all started on Thursday with a little cough from Reagan...that "little" cough grew into a barking seal cough (croup). Poor Reaggie - sleepless nights, runny noses, sore throat due to all the coughing, high fevers, vomiting due to all the coughing, 2 trips to the pediatricians office, a trip to the ER because of her labored breathing, a steroid shot, 2 blood draws, and PHEW we are now to Tuesday and this little gal is still feeling yucky! What the heck????? Oh and to top it all off - Mr. Jack woke up in the middle of the night on Sunday with coughing and a fever! He is NOW sick and feeling pretty lousy. Hello?!?

A positive note about this whole scenario - was that my Mom, Aunt and cousin were in town for the weekend (yep, they got to witness all this craziness) and helped out SO MUCH. My Mom was there with me at the ER while Aunt Ronda took care of Jack at home. They helped out at night and during the day with both kids - and Kayla was the super-cousin who had boundless energy to play with the kids even though she was feeling a little under-the-weather.
