**see bottom of blog for book list**
For those of you who follow my sister's blog too, you probably saw that she is close to finishing her 12th book this year! Good for her! :) And if you KNOW my sister, that's not really a shocker because she's totally driven and motivated and when a goal is set, it is MET! Don't you agree??? (can we say over-achiever??? ha! love ya, sis!)
Well...to everyone's surprise, I'm actually not that far behind her. I'm on my 12th book - at the beginning of "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" by Jamie Ford. So far so good but let's face it, I'm NOT going to finish by Friday at midnight. ha! While I officially did not meet my goal, I was close and had a blast reading all 11 books this year. About a month ago, I posted a request for good books on FB and received awesome feedback. So according to the comments left from all my friends, I'm totally covered for 2011 too!
A big thanks to my Kindle-obsessed Mom for surprising both Sara and I with Kindles of our own for Christmas. It's almost a guarantee that during a phone call with my Mom she either mentions the Kindle, how much she loves the Kindle, the awesome cover she purchased WITH the attached light, what books she just purchased for her Kindle, have I purchased my cover yet, etc. (love ya, Mom!)
Anyways, just a little rambling but thought I would share - happy reading to all and Cheers to 2011!

I am trying not to detect the "making fun of Mom" comment in your post. You redeemed yourself by saying, "luv ya, Mom".
Thanks..... heh, you are becoming a Kindle lover, too!
Good for you, Erin! I have recently become obsessed with reading...not sure why it hasn't been a love of mine forever, but I'm glad I'm finally enjoying it now. I looked at your list at the bottom of your blog...out of those that you've read this year, which were your favorites (besides Breaking Dawn...already read it). Also, what is your list for next year? I've just started making my own list and I'd love to hear your input! Thanks!!! :)
