Hello. Goodbye. Hello again!

So I realized it's been since APRIL since I posted on our family blog - yes, APRIL! Wow, I've been totally slacking. Life got sooo crazy at the end of the school year and I just couldn't bring myself to sit and update the blog. But now that life has slowed down (okay, not really!), I'm going to try & update all of you guys on what we've been up to!

So hmmmmm, let's see - Jack graduated from Kindergarten and will be a big bad First Grader. That's totally crazy in my opinion - how can my little baby be a First Grader????? He is not allowed to get any older, lose any teeth or learn to read...that just makes him too big for me! After a long winter of hockey, he decided to play baseball this spring. He loved it...and also finished up his soccer season. He has decided he does NOT like soccer (a secret woohoo from Matt & I). ha! This summer, he will be busy playing hockey (yes, I will be spending time in the cold ice rink this summer!!!), golf and doing a few camps. Fun and Busy...that's the way we like it!

Reagan is a preschool graduate and excited to start Kindergarten. See feelings above...she can't be this old!!!! I get a little teary-eyed when I think about it. So enough of that crazy talk...just going to enjoy our summer and not think about school yet! :) Our little Miss Reagan is playing hockey this summer - and I have to add, she rocked her first time on the ice with full pads and a stick. Go girl! This spring, she was involved in gymnastics and really liked it! She is quite strong (takes after her mama, jk!) and can do pull-ups on the uneven bars. What?!? I can't even do a pull-up...now granted, I have a few more lbs. to pull up! ha! Tennis is also a new activity for us this summer...loving that too.

We took a post-school, pre-summer trip to Aruba as a family and it was amazing. Our first time to the island and we told ourselves we would go back and hopefully soon. I will post pics of that trip in a separate blog posting but it was awesome.

Hope all my blogger friends are doing well and I vow to be a better "poster"...

Happy 4th of July, E & gang

Yay! Glad your back! Sounds like your family is doing great...fun & busy kids! It is sad to see them getting bigger, but also SO much fun to experience all the things they're able to do when they're big! Enjoy your summer...sounds like you definitely will.
