Let the countdown begin...43 more days until the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
In a previous post, I explained the walk and that I was doing it with my sister. We will be walking 39 miles in 2 days - the catch is that we each raise $1,800 towards breast cancer awareness & research. Well...it's official, as of TODAY I have raised a TOTAL of $1,984 and I'm still going strong! I can't thank my generous family & friends enough...everyone has been so supportive! I am truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life - thank you all so much for showing your support!
Along with personal letters, I also threw a fundraising party to spread awareness of breast cancer & show my friends a good time! Here are some pictures from that party...a special music fundraiser that raised over $400! Doesn't it look like the kids had a blast?
So...with only 43 days left until the big event - should I maybe start to train? :) eeck!
On May 17th & 18th, we all walk as one! So think of me & send me good wishes as I proudly travel 39 miles for my Grandma Bonnie!
